My first cave was with my grandpa at a local cave to southern Illinois where I grew up. Since then I have hit some caves here and there between Illinois and Missouri but not very many. It wasn't until I moved to TN in 2020 when I really started to get into caving pretty heavy. I was previously big into rock climbing as well so I quickly got into the vertical caves and i thoroughly enjoy those. Id have to say Valhalla has been my favorite sporty cave so far but there are many I haven't seen. Depriest branch cave is probably my favorite for formations and I sort of manage that one and I'm the unofficial tour guide of sorts. But I am most definitely happiest when I am on rope!
